Description
I watched these Scissortails for quite some time. There were 4 babies when I got to this spot then mom left with 2 of them leaving dad to feed to other 2. He kept feeding the one on the bottom and ignored the one of the top. The one on the bottom seemed a little smaller and not quite as developed. A Western Kingbird came along hoping to raid their nest but dad put up a good fight. The acrobatics in the air were incredible but I could not follow along since I was in the car shooting out the window with a lens almost as large as me.

Wow, what a very beautiful capture with the perfect title to this very humorous creation of being in love, and waiting to get loved! :)

I love this Katen.....it's not just a great photograph. It tells a story which, I think is very important. L/F

Thank you Stuart, I always love your feedback. My husband, who is also a photographer, said the same thing about how an image should tell a story.
