Description
I got a picture of this pretty Lark Sparrow perching in our mesquite tree. I made a small art piece by changing the back ground with a cloud image I had taken then used a texture overlay to add drama.
A conspicuous sparrow of farmlands and roadsides, the Lark Sparrow has a bold face and tail pattern. With unusual courtship displays as well as plumage, it is like no other sparrow and is the sole member of its genus.

This is gorgeous Karen. I keep coming back to it often. Such a beauty. Don't make me come down to take you out and do some pictures young lady. ;o)
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you Bunny, I really enjoyed doing this one. Of course you can come and take me out to take pictures, there's not much around here to take pictures of...the birds are nesting and not flying, the dirt is blowing, no pretty clouds and hot, hot, hot...
