Description
While visiting Palo Duro Canyon State Park in The Texas panhandle I noticed two sundogs to the west, one on each side of the sun. I put on a 14mm fisheye lens thinking it might make a cool picture. When I processed the image in Photoshop I could see the halo around the sun which was difficult to see in the sky.

This is an absolutely magical and dreamlike effect in the sky. I have never seen before such a phenomenon and am fascinated by this photo. The dark silhouettes of the trees, especially the tree that is in front of the sun, accentuate the enchanting charm of the scene. Superb work, dear Karen!
