The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Al-Ahmar.....The meaning in Arabic is "bay horse"

Bay horses are reddish brown with black points. Points are the lower legs, ears, mane and tail. Folklore has portrayed bay horses as easy-going, mild and dependable. Bay mares, the female horse, was highly prized as war mounts by the Bedouins in the Arabian Desert. Bay was also thought to be the hardiest color.

Some general terms when describing bay horses are:
Standard Bay: red body and black points
Blood Bay: dark blood-red color, sometimes almost purple
Mahogany Bay: brown-red with some black mixed in coat
Copper Bay: ornage-red body
Golden Bay: yellowish body
Bay: bay with minimal black points, usually black on legs comes to fetlock

I have recently gotten into bird photography and really love taking their pictures. I also have a passion for clouds and the Texas landscape when the storms come rolling in.
