Her Highness metal print by Karen Slagle. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

This cat's image was taken in the Texas panhandle, perched on her first mom's muumuu. Her first mom passed away right before this image was taken. She lived to be 92. I used a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 28-200 lens. Also a Nikon SB800 Speedlight was bounced off the ceiling.

All cats are royality, from the lowliest alley cat to the cats that own the rich and famous. They all deserve to live in the lap of luxury, perching anywhere they please. They help us make the beds, sit on computer keyboards helping us type and also serve as bedwarmers on the coldest nights. Of course they get the softest, warmest part of the bed and push us to the other (cold) side in the middle of the night. About Karen Slagle
I have recently gotten into bird photography and really love taking their pictures. I also have a passion for clouds and the Texas landscape when the storms come rolling in. Lightning is a favorite subject during storms. I love macro photography and all the hidden detail in these amazing closeups. My arsenal consists of all Nikon cameras, flash units and Nikkor lenses. I really love this beautiful and poignant portrait. My Sugar was much the same way after my Mom passed. She grieved for over six months and still looked for her even though she was there when Mom passed. I hope this little gal got a new loving home.
