This mama Mule Deer and her twins were in my horse lot when I took their picture.
I have recently gotten into bird photography and really love taking their pictures. I also have a passion for clouds and the Texas landscape when the storms come rolling in. Lightning is a favorite subject during storms. I love macro photography and all the hidden detail in these amazing closeups. My arsenal consists of all Nikon cameras, flash units and Nikkor lenses. I have won monthly contests at Better Photo and I have also been published in Cowboy Magazine and Cowboys and Indians Magazine. PLEASE DO NOT PIN IMAGES TO PINTEREST.....THANK YOU

What a gorgeous and intense image! I hope mule deer are doing better in your part of the country -- they aren't doing well in WY at all They are so uniquely intelligent, curious and expressive, and this marvelous image sure conveys all that and more! fav
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you Dawn...The mule deer are doing too well in this part of the country. Part of the problem where I live is that people feed them, not knowing the harm they are doing plus the over population causing much havoc with the plants and flowers.
Tami Quigley
