Description
Our severe stormy weather generally begins in April through June. This is when the atmosphere is very volatile and storms can quickly form and turn bad, lightning and tornados happen mostly this time of year. This day the dry line, which is the line where warm, moist air from the east meets the drier air moving in from the west. The dry line set up right over our home and I took advantage of it to take this image. Since the dry line moves east we were safe from the storms because the dry air moved over us but storms did happen to our east.

This is such a mesmerizing and beautiful cloudscape that you captured brilliantly in black and white. The gentle movement of the clouds and the dramatic contrasts are magical! Magnificent work, Karen! l/f
