The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

About Karen Slagle
I have recently gotten into bird photography and really love taking their pictures. I also have a passion for clouds and the Texas landscape when the storms come rolling in. Lightning is a favorite subject during storms. I love macro photography and all the hidden detail in these amazing closeups. My arsenal consists of all Nikon cameras, flash units and Nikkor lenses. Images like this take me back to a time when my parents still liked each other enough to joke about this place being our next home. It was mostly a happy time, poignant and beautiful. Excellent work that makes one want to know the history of this home and its inhabitants.
