Description
I caught my Echinopsis blooming this morning and hurried to get a picture before the blooms closed up. This was taken in the Texas panhandle. I took this with my Nikon D4 and the Nikkor 105mm macro lens.

These have such beautiful blooms. Love this color too. Most of ours are yellow, pink, or red. Gorgeous capture.
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you, Bunny, they come in so many colors. There is a place here that cultivate cacti.

What an interesting flower! Do they rebloom each morning? Great image, l/f
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you Diane. No, they only bloom once and the blooms only last for a short time, have to catch them at sunrise.
