I have problems saying no to any creature in that much need. That is how most of my babies have come to me. Tossed out like trash by others but we reap the treasures. Gorgeous and delightful capture.

Karen Slagle replied:

Thank you Bunny, Bugzy is the coolest cat and we are blessed to have him in our home.

Bunny Clarke

It's funny how they pop up when we least expect them to. I ended up with my youngest, a Ragdoll mix, much the same way. She was four weeks old and on my co-workers doorstep. I took her in and that was almost five years and 12 pounds ago. :o) Gorgeous capture.

Karen Slagle replied:

Thank you Bunny, it's hard to say 'no'.

Artist's Description

This little kitten was found along an interstate highway in the Texas panhandle on the side of the road. The kind lady stopped to try and catch him thinking if he ran away he would be a wild cat. He came to her mewing all the way, so lost and alone. Some one had thrown him out of their car and he had a bump over his left eye and road rash on one of his little paws. Another lady called me to see if I wanted him and the Lord knows we didn't need another cat but when I saw his sweet face and yellow eyes, I could not say "no". So here he is, the subject of many future pictures out of my camera...Bugzy.

He is so very much like a black cat we lost 2 years ago from leukemia, same face and disposition plus the black hair...Romeo, are you reincarnated? We sure do miss you so much.
