I have recently gotten into bird photography and really love taking their pictures. I also have a passion for clouds and the Texas landscape when the storms come rolling in. Lightning is a favorite subject during storms. I love macro photography and all the hidden detail in these amazing closeups. My arsenal consists of all Nikon cameras, flash units and Nikkor lenses. I have won monthly contests at Better Photo and I have also been published in Cowboy Magazine and Cowboys and Indians Magazine. PLEASE DO NOT PIN IMAGES TO PINTEREST.....THANK YOU

Bunny Clarke
Gorgeous capture. I had to revisit this beauty. It reminds me so much of the prairies of Wyoming.
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you Bunny, it does have similarities to parts of Wyoming.
Dawn Senior-Trask
What a beautiful expression of the prairie! Love the freedom -- feel like galloping down that inviting two-track! fav
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you Dawn, me too...They said we could bring our horses and ride but we just haven't.
Bunny Clarke
This picture must have been taken in the Spring when the grasses were still green. In Wyoming, everything turned brown after May. Love this gorgeous capture.
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you Bunny, it was taken in May or June while we were getting rain...It turns brown here early in the season.
