Description
The little church at Trujillo, New Mexico sits on private land, close to a highway. The highway is not used much and it's easy to not notice the old signs of life in this area. The hills are full of old adobes, rock house and other signs of life, one just has to slow down and look. I turned this mage into a b/w to enhance the loneliness along this stretch of road. Other than an occasional car the only sounds were the wind and birds.
I took this image in eastern New Mexico.

Slowing down to savor the places we see is not always and easy thing to do. I love the way you turned this into black and white. It really does emphasize the lonely stretch of scenery.
