Description
I knew if I went close to this Killdeer it would fly by me and buzz me. I practiced panning using a Nikkor 300 lens. He kept screaming at me as he went by, they can get very obnoxious. This is the same bird in different poses. I combined them in PS and added clouds and 2 texture layers.

Beautiful image of Killdeer in flight, with great perspective, timing, post-processing, light, and composition, Karen! Well done! F/L

I love how you did this Karen. This is such a spectacular set of captures and compilation. Love the colors too.

Killdeer are small birds - so awesome details on this inflight capture Karen! Nice processing too! f/v

I was eleven years old when my mother took me to see the Grand Tetons. I met my first Killdeer there by the side of the road. She was pretty frantic since I was nearly standing on her eggs. Once I saw them, I backed away so she could relax better. This is gorgeous.
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you, Bunny, they are so pretty but very obnoxious, but then I would be too if I was a killdeer.
