Description
As storms were brewing to the east, 60 miles away in Oklahoma, the pink/orange clouds low on the horizon, the stars were shining bright as the international space station made a flyover across the Texas panhandle. The night was beautiful and I can only imagine what the people in the ISS can see from above, how gorgeous it must be.
The bright reddish spot up a little and to the right over the old corrals is the planet Mars. The star Antares, very bright, is down and a little to the left of Mars. The planet Saturn is bright and to the left of Antares.

Absolutely remarkable, Karen! I have for a long time enjoyed cosmology, and here you have what I feel is a rare combination of events all at once: the space station in flight, 2 planets in our solar system, plus one of the largest super red giant stars. Way to go!! L/F

This is such an amazing capture. Love this beautifully scientific capture and the beauty as well.
