Description
On September 27, 2015 we had a Super Comanche Blood Moon Eclipse. In Texas the harvest moon of September is called a Comanche moon due to the Comanche Indians would raid by the light of the full moon. This is several images compiled together showing the phases of the eclipse. I took this image in the Texas panhandle.

This almost has a sci fi feel to it. All the views of the moon's positions lend to that feeling. Gorgeous work.

I really like how the moon is across the sky at an angle and how the colors and shape changes through each camera click. Gorgeous work.

Only in Texas can you find the perfect setting for a Comanche moon! Fabulous work Karen and perfectly presented! L/F
