This is such a magnificent work Karen. The glory of this sky reminds us that life goes on. It doesn't always mean it's a happy thing, and not always beautiful, but it still goes on. Love this work. I'm glad you posted it. A fine tribute to the losses of the families and friends.

Artist's Description

On the third day after the devastating fires in the Texas panhandle, Oklahoma panhandle and Kansas the 60 plus mph winds subsided. The evening grew calm and peaceful and smoke from the fires hung in the air. This is a cloud stack or time stack of 41 images over a 20 minute period. The sun turned the clouds into a rainbow of color. Thousands of cattle died as did a total of 5 or 6 people, 4 of them not far from where I live. 3 were trying to save their cattle and got caught by the fire being blown by extreme winds. Another man was trying to get home from work...What a sad day this was. God blessed us with peaceful skies 3 days later.
