Description
This was a rare morning in the Texas panhandle when the conditions were perfect for the dew to form on the spider's webs. It only happens once or twice a year in September. I found this beauty on an old horse feeder in our back lot. Every direction I looked that morning the dew was everywhere on all webs, big and small. I thought this was a perfectly shaped web and the spider was still on it when I went to get my camera...Alas, by the time I got back the spider was gone and it wasn't long before the sun burned off the dew.

The dew drops look like tiny diamonds all along the threads of the web. Fabulous capture and composition.

Spider webs are amazing, aren't they, especially when adorned with morning dew. What a work of art. Beautifully captured. L/fv
