Description
This orb weaver was hanging on it's web waiting for supper. I took this with my Nikon D300 and a Micro Nikkor 105, 2.8 lens. This was taken in the Texas panhandle.

This has a high impact visually. I love how you captured the pattern on the body. Outstanding work.

OOOOO I'm sorry, Karen, but this is just awesome!!!!! Not easy!! You've got to get them to NOT skitter away ... the wind NOT to blow ... to get the flippin' camera to focus, LOL!!!!! Fantastic back lighting!!!!!!!!! I know how much goes into a shot like this and I am all admiration!!!!!! f/v
Karen Slagle replied:
Thank you Lois...I'm thrilled you like this spider, he really was a neat one...
